Students at Fort Lewis College participate in the LibRIC (Library Research Integrated into the Curriculum) program. Integrating library instruction into the curriculum allows students to apply research skills they are learning to real classroom assignments. This integration enhances student engagement and learning.

LibRIC instruction is structured into 3 tiers:

• Tier 1: Freshman Composition (Composition 126 and 150),
• Tier 2: Intermediate Composition (Composition 250, or 252, English 268, History 250, or Sociology 210), and
• Tier 3: Upper Division Research (Senior Seminar research, Honors 350, or other upper division courses).
