  • How are the  physical books organized?
    • We use a system called Library of Congress Classification (LCC) to organize our books. This is the standard classification used in college and university libraries in the United States. Letters are used to represent different academic subject areas. Browse the D, E, and F sections for most books concerning history.
  • How do I search for a book or ebook online?
    • If you have the title of the book or ebook you would like to locate, search for the book in the library catalog. To access the catalog, visit the website's "Books and Videos" tabs. For best results, enter your title in quotation marks.
    • If you don't have the title of a particular book or ebook, you can search in the "Books and Videos" tab on the website using keywords.
  • What if you don't have the book I am looking for?
    • We can borrow books and articles for free from other libraries through a process called Interlibrary Loan.
