American Anthropological Association
An organization of scholars, practitioners, and professionals in the field of anthropology in the United States. The AAA is organized into 40 sections based on specializations within the field. Publishes 22 journal titles.
Society for American Archaeology
An international organization focused on research, interpretation and protection of archaeological heritage of the Americas. Publishes a number of quarterly journals, magazines and books through Cambridge University Press.
