What is MyEbsco?

MyEbsco is a free personal account that enhances your research experience across all EBSCO databases.

Once created, your MyEbsco account allows you to save, organize, and access your research materials from any device, anywhere.

Save Your Research

• Bookmark articles to access them later across all your research sessions
• Save searches to re-run them without starting over
• Store items permanently - saved materials remain in your account until you remove them

Organize with Projects

• Create custom folders to organize research by class, topic, or assignment
• Move items between projects to keep your research organized
• Add notes to remember why you saved specific resources

Access Anywhere

• Single sign-on - one account works across all EBSCO databases
• Cross-platform access - continue your research from any computer or device
• Download EBSCO eBooks for offline reading with your MyEbsco credentials

Getting Started

Creating Your Account

1. Access any EBSCO database through the Reed Library website
2. Look for the "MyEbsco" link in the top right corner
3. Click "Create an account" and provide your email address
4. Create a password (minimum 6 characters with at least one number and special character)

Using MyEbsco

• To save an item: Click the bookmark icon next to any article or resource
• To access saved items: Under the "My Dashboard" menu on the left side of the screen, click on "Saved"
• To create projects: Under the "My Dashboard" menu on the left side of the screen, click on "Projects". Create a new project folder by pressing the "+" sign on the blue button at the top of the screen
• To manage saved items: Use the dropdown menu (three dots) next to any item to share via email, generate citations in multiple formats, add notes, or move between projects

Remember

• Your MyEbsco account is separate from your FLC library account
• Saved items are retained for 18 months of account inactivity
• Citations generated should be verified against style guides
