IEEE Xplore is a freely searchable database of the journals, conference proceedings, and standards published by the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). Most of the content is not available full-text, or downloadable. To find a full-text version, use the following directions:
- Find an article you want to access full-text
- Open a new tab in your browser and go to Quick Search on the main library page.
- Copy and paste the title of the article into the Quick Search
- You may find a PDF of the article full-text in the search results, or a link to 'Request through Interlibrary Loan'
- If you see the 'Request..' link, click on it and fill out the remaining information, including your phone number, and submit your request
- If you do not see the article in the search results, go back to the main library page, and under 'My Account', choose 'Interlibrary Loan Account'. Create a new request and fill in the information about the article and submit your request
- You will receive an email when your article is ready for download through your Interlibrary Loan Account. It may take several days to receive your article
