🤝 Start Your Book Club Journey

You don’t have to go it alone—Reed Library is here to support you. Whether you’re gathering a group of colleagues or hoping to find fellow readers, we’ll help you form a book club that fits your goals and schedule.

There are just five simple steps to launching a meaningful reading group. You’ll find full guidance in our Create & Organize Your Book Club guide linked below.

📝 5 Steps to Get Started

Step 1: Gather your group & choose a title
Invite coworkers, teammates, or friends on campus—or ask the library for help connecting with others interested in the same title.

Step 2: Reserve your book kit
Request your kit through Reed Library. Each one includes multiple copies of the book and helpful discussion materials.

Step 3: Meet and read together
Plan your discussion sessions in a way that works for your group. Whether that’s over lunch, after work, or during team time—it’s up to you.

Step 4: Wrap up with intention
Hold a final meeting to reflect on what you’ve learned together. We’ll provide a few simple prompts to help close the experience.

Step 5: Return your kit
Once you’re done, return the books and materials so the next group can get started!
