Citation Guide Old: How to cite BOOKS, eBOOKS, CHAPTERS

Books

  • Examples are not double-spaced, but your References list should be double-spaced
  • Examples do not show indented lines after the first line, but yours should be indented

For books without editors:

Author's Last Name, First Initial. Middle Initial. Book Title, Edition Number; Series Information (if any); Publisher: Place of Publication, Year; Volume Number, Pagination.

For books with editors:

Author's Last Name, First Initial. Middle Initial. Chapter Title. In Book Title, Edition Number; Editor's Last Name, First Initial, Middle Initial, Ed.; Series Information (if any); Publisher: Place of Publication, Year; Volume Number, Pagination.
